Established in 1978, Framers Market first first opened its doors at 2626 Brown Avenue in Pine Island Plaza, Manchester. Originally a DIY workshop and custom framing shop, its growth became apparent after eight successful years in this locale, prompting the quest for a more spacious home to accommodate its expanding endeavors.
The ideal spot was found in Bedford at 124 South River Road at Kettleford Korner, now known as Woodbury Court. Over time, the shop's focus shifted as its dedication to custom framing outshone its DIY roots, leading to a gradual phase-out of the latter. The shop's art gallery also flourished, attracting numerous local artists eager to showcase their work. However, after 22 successful years, it was time for another change.
The final move brought Framers Market to downtown Manchester at 1301 Elm Street, where they were lucky enough to have input into renovations of the storefront. The result is an ideal location for both the frame shop and gallery space, with ample parking and close to the amenities of downtown Manchester.
