Nancy Healy studied at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School and at Tufts University. After graduation she worked in the advertising design and illustration fields for several agencies in Boston, Massachusetts. She continued to freelance in the commercial arts field after having moved back to New Hampshire.
Nancy has continued to study with many professional artists in the New England area, and periodically attends artists’ workshops and life drawing groups. She is a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association and exhibits her work in several galleries. Her work is in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
Nancy works primarily in pastel and specializes in commissioned portraiture. When not busy with portraits, she likes to interpret the beauty and complexities of figurative, floral and nature studies.
